after the wedding we went to Lake Tahoe where we met up with our friends the Spainhower's. It was so awesome of them to meet us there. While we were there we celebrated Johnny's birthday and spent quite a bit of time at the lake

and Rylee turned THREE!

August

Anna started kindergarten!

September

We got a new car. I also noticed in going through my pictures that I took very few pictures this month. Must have been a big adjustment to the new school schedule ;)

October

The Spainhowers came to visit as we said goodbye to their nephew Nico who was going in to the military...

Rylee started gymnastics just like her big sister...

and of course there was Halloween...

November

Anna participated in her first Santa Clarita Marathon Final Mile challenge and was very excited to not finish last :)

we celebrated Anna's SIXTH birthday!

rylee and the greats

one weekend while Anna was having a sleepover with my mom (back in July), we went to Johnny's grandparents house with just Rylee to celebrate Grandpa's 85th birthday...

If you know Rylee, you know that she can be very slow to warm up to people she doesnt see all that often. I was so excited when it only took her about 5 minutes to warm up to grandpa!

I made sure to take the opportunity to get some pictures!

I love these pictures!

Theres a benefit to always having a camera on hand. The benefit is that I will always have a camera available to take pictures like this.

There is also a downfall...I knew I had taken these pictures but couldnt remember which camera I took them with...until I finally downloaded the pictures from the camera in my purse and realized that they'd been sitting there since July!

our trip...part 1

in talking with a friend, i realized that i had never shared the pictures from our trip to northern california earlier this month. the trip was planned because johnny's cousin cole was getting married. so, we started the trip in folsom and ended our trip in lake tahoe with a little family and friend trip(Ill post pictures from the lake tahoe part tomorrow).

a lot of family came in to town for the wedding. it was great seeing so many people that we dont often get to see. anna and rylee were in cousin heaven!

the wedding was held at a really cool place called The Old Sugar Mill. Parts of the location were really run down and other parts had been renovated for weddings, wineries and events. it was really really cool. i wish I would have taken pictures of the sunset out the floor to ceiling glass windows. it was amazing

renae was visiting from virginia because johnny and renae's uncle passed away...she will be back in a month for another family event, but it was great to have this quick visit with her...

mothers day weekend 2012

we went to las vegas again with our moms. I noticed on sunday that I took more pictures of las vegas itself rather than the people who were with us...not good...i'll have to fix that situation and make sure to get more pictures of the girls with their grandmas...

on saturday night we went for a drive down "the strip". Ive always wanted some great night pictures but never had the equipment capable of getting those shots I wanted...until now ;)

first one gone!

anna came to me on thursday and told me her tooth was loose. obviously it had been loose for a while without her knowing, because it was REALLY loose!

on friday, when auntie renae was visiting she (with a little help from mama) convinced anna to let her pull the tooth...

easter 2012

wow...I am really behind in posting! guess I should make sure I empty all of my cameras more often!

Easter 2012 started off with a great egg hunt in our front yard...

then we moved on to nana and grandpa's house...

and then on to mema and papa's house...

and then on to grammy and grandpa's...

 

 

 

Christmas day...

Im really posting out of order right now...
I got a new laptop for Christmas, and some of my Christmas pictures are posted on my old computer and some on the new one. So, the pictures will be completely out of order, but I dont think the five people that read this will mind too terribly ;)
